This week marks significant progress on our ongoing office fit-out, bringing us closer to the final stages of completion. Here’s an overview of what’s happening on-site: 

Progress on Key Tasks: 

  1. Painting Completion

    The painting work continues, ensuring that the office walls and other surfaces receive the final touch-ups and are ready for other installations. 

  2. Fit Out of Steccawood Walls

    The installation of Steccawood walls is expected to be completed this week, adding an aesthetic and functional element to the office design. This feature enhances the office’s overall acoustic and visual appeal. We’ll be diving into its design benefits, and why we chose it for our office in an upcoming blog post. Stay tuned! 

  3. Electrical Fit Off

    The electrical work is ongoing. This step is crucial in ensuring all lighting, power points, and other electrical systems are properly installed and functional before the final handover. 

  4. Installation of Acoustic Panels

    This week also marks the installation of our acoustic panels, which we’ve discussed in previous updates. These panels are designed to improve sound quality in key areas of the office, ensuring a quieter, more productive work environment. The acoustic treatment is essential for open-plan workspaces, helping reduce noise distractions and promoting better focus for our teams.

  5. Skirting Installation

    Skirting installation is another focus this week, giving the office a polished and finished look while protecting the walls from daily wear and tear. 

  6. Floor Installation

    A major milestone is the ongoing installation of the office flooring. This will provide a solid foundation for the entire space and add to the aesthetic finish of the interior. 

  7. Burgtec Furniture Delivery

    We’re excited to announce that this week sees the delivery of our Burgtec furniture, which we’ve previously written about. Known for its premium quality and modern design, Burgtec will play a key role in bringing the workspace to life, providing functional and stylish pieces that support productivity and comfort. This is a significant step, as the new furniture will allow us to start setting up workstations and collaborative areas.

  8. Installation of Ceiling Tiles

    Work on ceiling tiles continues as well. This will ensure that the office has a clean and sleek ceiling finish, contributing to both the design and acoustics of the workspace. 

  9. Plaster Patching

    Patching of the plaster is still in progress. These final touch-ups are important to ensure that all surfaces are smooth and ready for painting or other finishes. 

  10. Glazing Sliding Doors

    The installation of glazing sliding doors is scheduled to be completed. These doors will not only provide functional separation between spaces but also bring in natural light, creating an open and inviting environment. 

What’s Next for our office fit-out? 

The team is on track, and once this week’s tasks are completed, we will be moving into the final stages of the office fit-out.
