Demolition is well underway at our new office location at Level 2, 100 Brougham Street, Geelong. This crucial phase marks the beginning of our journey to create a dynamic and innovative new workspace.
The Demolition Process
The demolition phase is a vital step in transforming our new office space, which was previously one of the levels occupied by the City of Greater Geelong.
The first task for our demolition crew is to clear the existing structures within the office space.
This involves:
- Removing Existing Walls: Knocking down interior partitions to create our open-plan layout.
- Ceiling and Flooring Removal: Stripping out old ceiling panels and flooring materials to make way for new installations.
- Fire Services Removal: Safely dismantle outdated fire services to replace them with modern, compliant systems.
- Stripping Out Fixtures and Fittings: Removing old fixtures, fittings, and any obsolete equipment according to the approved Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FFE) schedule.
- Debris and Material Handling: Loading and removing building materials and debris from the site. Ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
The completion of the demolition phase will pave the way for the exciting stages of construction and design. Each cleared space brings us one step closer to realising our vision of a state-of-the-art office designed to foster innovation and collaboration.
