GEORGIA MCLEAN

Lawyer

From the wilds of Warrnambool (okay – not that wild!), Georgia moved to Geelong to commence her university studies and loves that she landed here. She began work as a paralegal in 2016 before being admitted as a lawyer in 2017, and has been with Whyte Just and Moore since September 2018. Focusing in Commercial and Business Law, as well as Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Georgia’s client-focussed communication skills and methodical, yet entirely upbeat, efficiency make her a valuable asset to the team. Her objective, particularly when it comes to dispute resolution, is to find solutions that are timely and strategic and that, wherever possible, preserve relationships in the process. With her organised and determined approach, Georgia has gained a reputation as an analytical thinker, offering clear and well-reasoned legal advice.

Organisation and determination are also key for Georgia outside of the office – these traits have helped her prepare for and complete two half-marathons, as well as in skilfully juggling her roles as a board director of the Geelong Chamber of Commerce, a committee member of the Geelong Young Professionals and a board member of Platform Youth Arts. Keeping busy is often the name of the game, but Georgia equally likes to wind down over a glass of wine with her husband, family and friends – preferably over a shared meal at Alma restaurant or somewhere equally warm and welcoming.
